Now, the scandal about a clinical study with cholesterol-lowering drugs has brought this giant fraud to the attention of a world-audience. In articles published on January 15, 16 and 17, 2008, the “New York Times” confirmed:

1. There is no evidence between cholesterol-lowering and the prevention of heart disease
2. All cholesterol-lowering drugs have only been approved by the FDA in the false believe that they prevent heart attacks.
3. This false belief was essentially a marketing gimmick artificially created by the drug industry to boost its multi-billion dollar business with these drugs.
